"I can't begin to tell you how much electrolysis has changed my life. I used to pluck my chin daily and always tried to hide it from everyone. How could people not have known, my skin was red and irritated. I always had ingrown hairs and I felt that the more I tried to fix it, the worse it became. I plucked for almost 10 years, and finally I had enough. I started receiving electrolysis treatments in 2007, and couldn't believe how quickly my skin began to change! The hyper pigmentation started to fade and what I thought was severe acne, which was really irritation from the hairs, went away. My confidence changed and I had so much more time in the mornings! I began working other areas of my body, my upper lip, and then my bikini line! The bikini line has to be one of the best things (besides my chin) that I did for myself. It took me about 2 years to fully complete it but I LOVE not having to shave before the pool or the beach. I am not self conscious anymore and I always get asked, is it hard to work on yourself? "Where do I begin!? Well, for starters, I have given Elise Bright the title of "Queen Electrologist!" Not only do I consider her an EXCELLENT electrologist, but I now consider her a dear friend. I liked her from the moment I met her. She is extremely knowledgeable in her specialty, and most importantly, extremely honest!
I had decided a few years back that I could no longer stand shaving my yeti legs! I swear I would have a 5 O'Clock shadow a few hours after taking a new razor to them. I'm Greek and Arabic - enough said. After doing some research and realizing this is the ONLY way to get permanent results, I started the grand task of finding a great electrologist.
Not only did I find a great electrologist, I KNOW I found THE BEST! Elise was gracious enough to give me a short 10/15 min. trial run to feel how she works her magic. Afterwards, came the hard part. She had to be brutally honest in letting me know that it was going to take an enormous commitment to get rid of the yeti within! Fast forward to now (about a year and a half worth of sporadic visits) and I'm "almost" there! Had Elise not been
100% honest with me, I probably would have thrown in the towel and been extremely upset.
Her prices are extremely competitive, she is gentle and skilled in her craft and is always conscious of each client's individual needs. My only complaint is selfish in that I wish I could keep her all to myself rather than having to wait for an appointment.
After numerous 2 hour sessions, lots of laughs, lots of zapping and lots of dead follicles, I'm almost there. I will probably find another area to work on after I'm done, just to keep going to see Elise. She is a true gem."
